All wired up but nowhere to go? Feeling on the backstep with the full range of opportunities for poetry – audio poetry, visual poetry, film poetry, multimedia poetry and so on? Me too. So I’ve decided that learning more about computers ie my own Apple Mac will be my brain exercise this year. And that digital poetry will be my professional development for the year. My Poetry in the New World project is “made possible through a Quick Response Grant provided by Regional Arts NSW through the Regional Arts Fund, an Australian Government initiative supporting the arts in regional, remote and very remote Australia”. I get mentoring from digital artist and filmmaker Rie Natalenko. Fabulous.
