TWO LIPS GO SHOPPING IN NZ

An early small poem titled Two Lips Went Shopping has been taken on an unexpected excursion to New Zealand via Tuesday Poem a lively blogspot supported by a community of poets across New Zealand, Australia, Italy, Lesotho, UK and US.

Members post new poems and (with permission) poems by other poets. I was delighted when current Hub Editor, Canberra poet PS Cottier, not only wanted to post Two Lips Went Shopping but also a response to the poem. PS has an energetic and witty style about her - I enjoy both her poetry and her blogging.

Two Lips Went Shopping is the title poem in my hefty collection published by Spinifex Press in 2000 and as an e-book in 2013. Thanks to Spinifex Press who also gave permission for this publication of the poem.

PS Cottier's most recent book is the anthology The Stars Like Sand: Australian Speculative Poetry (co-editor with Tim Jones IP 2014). More about that soon. Visit Tuesday Poem - it's a grand collection of poets, poems and commentary which I'm having a good time working my own way through.
