2013: A GOOD YEAR FOR POETRY

Well it’s been a rather good year and it’s not over yet. Poems accepted for journals and anthologies in Australia, US and UK: Abridged Online – In Blue issue (any minute), Australian Love Poems (ed. Mark Tredinnick, Inkerman & Blunt), Australian Poetry members’ anthology (forthcoming), Burley, Cordite’s Masque issue and its Gondwana (forthcoming), Rabbit: A Journal of Non-Fiction Poetry, Right Now: Australian Human Rights, Shot Glass Journal, The Stars Like Sand (eds. PS Cottier & Tim Jones, IP 2014), Under the Basho, Wonder Book of Poetry, Wordly.

Also highly commended in the recently announced Blake Poetry Prize and a finalist in the Aesthetica Creative Writing Competition (Poetry). The (long) list of finalists will be announced soon (these poems will be published in the Aesthetica Creative Writing Annual 2014) and the winner announced next month.
