A BRUSH WITH POETRY - SEPTEMBER 29

Contemporary and traditional voices welcome. Bring your own selections and join in – or just listen, clap and cheer. Singers and musicians always welcome. Everyone gets a turn (generally one poem each and if time another round or two). Held on the last Sunday of every second month. If you didn’t make it in July you missed a rip roaring afternoon of contemporary poetry, bush poetry, song, ukulele, harmonica, guitar and squeeze box. You just don’t know what might happen – but you can bank on it being a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. All welcome. Admission free. Light lunch menu, coffee and cake, boutique wines and yes there's beer. Enjoy the current exhibition of local art including owner Yvette Gilroy.
