Ducks on the chimney

Anne Summers has Ducks on the Pond - I have ducks on the chimney. Read that book only recently. It's gripping. Still a pertinent read. Felt a bit shocking to be reading about myself at times though - women/young mothers in the seventies in the suburbs. Getting to grips with the changing tide while dealing with motherhood, suburbia, migration, isolation... feeling like a duck out of water. Putting faces to the women who helped make everything more possible.
