Epic addictions

Go to Cordite for their current Post-Epic project. Add a line to one or all of a heap of epic works-in-progress each beginning with a line from an epic poem published in the previous Epic themed issue. Warning! It's addictive. Poets instigating or/and participating include: Bev Braune, Michael Farrell, Danijela Kambaskovic-Sawers, Louis Armand, S. K. Kelen, Liam Ferney, Stuart Barnes, w.m.lewis, Michelle Cahill, Bill Rush, Jeltje, Fiona Wright, Peter Lach-Newinsky, Anne Hollier Ruddy, Sheryl Persson, Sue Stanford, Sally Ann McIntyre, Quincy R. Lehr, Susan Hawthorne, Libby Hart, Lizz Murphy and more... phew! This project is in the spirit of the Korean poet Ko Un and his epic Maninbo (Ten Thousand Lives). Aiming for 10000 lines - no more like 1000. They still need your help. You can read more about Ko Un in the Cordite feature article by David Prater.

  1. Love Black taxi - reminds me of taking a walking tour of harlem with two Belgians many moons ago. So many intersections of past and present
